When Life Gets Hard

I have been applying for job upon jobs upon jobs doing application after application being told I needed a bank account here in the UK to be able to work. Told I don't have the right work until I have a national insurance number. Called the national insurance people to get an application which is their process, told they're not sending or accepting applications at this time because of Covid walked to banks only to have them tell me I need proof of address in the form of a utility bill or national insurance number letter...

Tried app based banks rejected from all tried online gigs got one but rejected from most.

I toyed with the idea of doing a GoFundMe but I know it's a hard time for many and just didn't know that I could manage it while doing my obligations at University.

Had an attempted robbery of my phone yesterday leave my phone splintered an unusable and living in a temporary housing place that parties 'til late and lives on 420...

I find out my nephew passed a couple days ago, where I'm living has no WiFi but I uttered not a word. I refused to give despair breath.

Then I receive an email from my Patron back home and I received a fat check from benefits I'd been owed but not paid sufficient to get me through the next two months.

My heart bursts with praise. The hymn says be not dismayed whate'er betide, God will take care of you.

Never let your hope die. It is hard all around. Don't let the difficulty of life rob you of your hope, your peace, or your joy.
